Competence Centers
A status that cannot be bought.
Competence Centers are practices and clinics we have had good experience with over many years — for planned procedures as much as for corrections. Who is admitted is decided by our own figures: how often problems occur, how they are dealt with and how aftercare is handled. We give you the list on request.

Which doctor should I go to?
This is the question we hear most — before a procedure as much as afterwards, when something needs correcting. We are not allowed to recommend anyone, and we do not want to: we are not in the treatment room and cannot judge who is right for you.
What we can do: give you a list of practices and clinics we have had good experience with over the years. That is not an opinion — it is in our figures: how often something goes wrong there, and how it is dealt with when it does.
This is explicitly not a recommendation and does not replace a medical consultation. It is a list — the choice is yours, together with a doctor you trust.

How admission works
We award the status from figures we already hold. You cannot apply in the classic sense — but if you meet the criteria and have not been approached, do get in touch.
What the status brings: our service centre names you to patients who are already looking for a correction — people with a concrete need, not scattered reach. It cannot be paid for, and that is the point.
- Demonstrably low complication rate over several years
- Experience with corrective procedures after operations by others
- Documented aftercare and availability following the procedure
- Specialist qualification and ongoing professional development
- A working relationship with us over a longer period
Frequent questions
What people ask about this
Why is the list not public?
Because a public ranking of doctors raises expectations we cannot meet — we know claims figures, not medical suitability in a specific case. On request we name suitable addresses and can take your case into account.
Does the enquiry cost me anything?
No. The enquiry is free, whether or not you are insured with us.
Do I have to be insured with quadmed?
No. We name addresses even if you have no policy with us.
Can doctors buy their way in?
No. The status is awarded on claims experience and can neither be bought nor applied for. Anyone who no longer meets the criteria loses it again.
