Privacy policy
This website sets no cookies, loads nothing from third-party servers and measures no usage behaviour. Whatever data does arise is set out here — in full, and in the order in which it occurs.

What this policy covers
It applies to your visit to this website at www.quadmed.li. It does not apply to your insurance contract: how we handle health data, medical reports and claims is set out in your contract documents and in the privacy information you received when you took out the policy. That processing takes place in the customer account and in the systems of the respective insurance company, not on this website.
Nor does it apply to the sites we link to — beautyprotect.com, lipo-protect.com, cosmeticsprotect.com, beauty.credit and the Beauty Business Portal. The policies published there apply to those sites.

What happens when you open a page
When you open a page, your browser sends technical details to our server: the address requested, the date and time, the volume of data transferred, the status message, the page you came from if your browser passes it on, and the browser and system identifiers. Without them a page cannot be delivered.
Your IP address is shortened before anything is written down: 203.0.113.47 becomes 203.0.113.0. It can no longer be traced back to you as a person. The logs serve to run the site and to fend off attacks, nothing else.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a functioning and secure website.
Where the website is hosted
The website runs on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The server is located in Germany; your data does not leave the European Union. A data processing agreement is in place with Hetzner.
Domain management is handled by united-domains GmbH, Gautinger Straße 10, 82319 Starnberg, Germany.
Cookies and local storage
This website sets no cookies — neither its own nor those of third parties. There is therefore no consent banner either, because there is nothing for you to consent to.
Exactly one value is stored in your browser's local storage, under the name qm:lang. It holds a language code such as de or en. It remembers which language you chose, so that the note about another language version does not reappear every time you open a page. The value contains no identifier, is never transmitted to us and does not leave your browser.
You can delete it at any time: in your browser settings under “Site data”, or in the developer console with localStorage.removeItem('qm:lang').
What we do not do
- No audience measurement, no statistics, no Google Analytics or comparable services.
- No advertising networks, no conversion tracking, no building of user profiles.
- No fonts from third-party servers. All fonts are held on our own server, so no connection to third parties is made.
- No embedded maps, videos or social media buttons.
- No automated decision-making and no profiling.
If you write to us or call us
This website has no contact form. If you send us an email or call us, we process the details you give us in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is the initiation or performance of a contract, or our legitimate interest in replying. We keep such enquiries for as long as we need them for handling the matter and for statutory retention periods.
Please do not send us medical reports, photographs or other health data by email. An ordinary email is unencrypted and can be read along the way. For documents of that kind, please use the customer account.
Your rights
You have the following rights towards us at any time:
- access to whether and what data we process about you
- rectification of inaccurate data
- erasure, unless a retention obligation stands in the way
- restriction of processing
- data portability — your data handed over in a transferable format
- objection to processing based on our legitimate interest
A short message to info@quadmed.li is enough. We reply within one month. Proof of your identity may be required so that we do not hand data to the wrong person.
Right to lodge a complaint
If you believe that we are not processing your data correctly, you can complain to the supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is:
- Authority
- Datenschutzstelle Fürstentum Liechtenstein (Data Protection Authority of the Principality of Liechtenstein)
- Address
- Kirchstrasse 8, Postfach 684, FL-9490 Vaduz
- Telephone
- +423 236 60 90
- info.dss@llv.li
You can also turn to the supervisory authority of the country you live in.
Changes
If the website changes technically, this policy changes with it. The version that applies is the one shown here when you open the page. The German version is authoritative; translations are provided to aid understanding.
